Seafood is one of the world’s most traded commodities. The impacts brought by COVID-19 have been far-reaching, and those faced by our own seafood sector in Australia have similarly been felt across the globe.

In the second special edition of FISH Magazine, impacts to fishing and aquaculture throughout countries around the world and international communities are explored.

For a snapshot of what is happening in fishing and aquaculture in the United States of America (USA), the European Union (EU), Norway, the United Kingdom (UK), New Zealand, Japan, and in international organisations including the United Nation’s Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the non-profit research organisation WorldFish, you can visit the FRDC’s article ‘COVID-19 impacts global seafood markets’.
