Marine Science Researcher
I. The Role
EP AQUACULTURE PTY LTD is seeking a Marine Science Researcher to join our research and development team based in Port Lincoln, South Australia. We are looking for a passionate expert in marine ranching, artificial reef construction, and marine ecology whose skills will contribute to the sustainable growth of our aquaculture initiatives and marine conservation efforts.
II. Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage marine science research projects related to aquaculture, including marine ranching and artificial reef construction.
2. Conduct scientific studies focused on sustainable aquaculture practices and marine environmental protection.
3. Collaborate with internal researchers, marine biologists, and industry partners to develop innovative marine conservation strategies.
4. Contribute to scientific publications and industry reports that reflect technological advancements in aquaculture.
5. Provide technical support in the design and implementation of marine-based development projects.
III. The ideal candidate will have:
1. A PhD in Marine Science, Aquaculture, or a related discipline.
2. Proven experience in marine ranching, artificial reef design, or aquaculture project management.
3. A strong track record of leading research initiatives and publishing scientific articles.
4. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, particularly in international research environments.
