EP Aquaculture Hosts “Flavors of Home” Lunar New Year Cultural Exchange
In celebration of the Lunar New Year, EP Aquaculture Pty Ltd hosted its first “Flavors of Home” Cross-Cultural Sharing Session on February 9, 2026. The event brought together employees across departments and regions to share their personal stories, family traditions, and cultural expressions related to the Spring Festival, creating a warm and inclusive environment that reflected the company’s global character.
The gathering, held at the Headquarters with live contributions from international offices, included a rich mix of activities: employees shared photos of festive meals from their hometowns, spoke about Lunar New Year customs such as red envelopes, reunion dinners, traditional greetings, and even local dialect expressions. Special segments included a short video montage from offshore team members, and a “New Year in My Words” live storytelling circle where participants described what the holiday means to them.
“Whether it's dumplings in Beijing, seafood feasts in Singapore, or handwritten couplets in coastal towns, these traditions are powerful reminders of where we come from—and why community matters,” said one participant from the Export Division.
Employees from non-Asian backgrounds were also invited to join the session, contributing their own winter holiday experiences and drawing connections across cultures. A “Lunar New Year Trivia Quiz” added a fun and educational touch to the event, sparking laughter and learning among new colleagues.
To mark the occasion, all attendees received a limited-edition EP New Year greeting card featuring artwork inspired by employee-submitted wishes, and each regional office hosted small-scale appreciation gatherings, aligning with local customs and working schedules.
The “Flavors of Home” session is part of EP Aquaculture’s growing efforts to embrace cultural diversity and promote a sense of belonging across a geographically distributed workforce. It also served as a reminder that even as the company expands globally, shared celebrations remain central to employee connection and corporate culture.
